Key Responsibilities
• Operate machines in a fast-paced environment
• Complete daily equipment checks to ensure everything runs smoothly
• Handle pressure die casting machines efficiently
• Quality check aluminium products for defects
• Pour metal and perform final finishing tasks
• Assist in the production of iron castings, from moulding sand to making cores
Note: This role is physically demanding and takes place in a hot environment.
Other duties of a similar nature may be required in this position to support the business.
Previous machine operative experience is required.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have prior experience within a production role, demonstrating proficiency in the tasks mentioned above. Previous machine operative experience is required.
Position Details
Shift: Monday to Thursday, 2pm-10:20pm, and Friday from 12:30pm-7:20pm
Pay: £11.71 per hour (38-hour workweek, including shift allowance)
Full-time temporary to permanent for the right candidate.
